I worked on Nine Inch Nails –All The Love In The World. The song is on the album With Teeth. This was released in 2005. At the time, I was working with Photek on the “Hand that Feeds” remix. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross stopped by to check on the progress of that remix.
I would never have thought Nine Inch Nails All The Love In The World would be made with turntables. I had just received the Stanton Scratch Amp. This was one of the first DVS systems. I showed them how it works. How you can ‘drop’ files on to each ‘deck.’ And how the music acts like a record. Lastly, I showed them how you can even put the same file on both turntables.
A couple days later, we got a call at the studio from Atticus. He said he and Trent had thought about the DVS set up. They wanted to know if I would be willing to take work on a song. Atticus asked me to chop up the Nine Inch Nails beat! The beginning of “All the Love in the World” is my beat skills on the turntables. I will always remember working with them in the studio. I for sure feel All The Love In The World when I listen back.
